Version 15 August 2026

Privacy notice

This notice covers the PromiseTrace validation survey and related research conversations. PromiseTrace is an early-stage product research project operated by Semmai Works.

Information we collect

When you submit the survey, we collect your work email, company, role, company size, information about an enterprise buyer request, your current process, willingness to share a redacted artefact, indicative budget, preferred next step and any optional context you provide. We also record campaign labels included in the link so we can understand which outreach message led to the response.

Do not submit contracts, source code, credentials, personal customer data or other confidential material through the public form.

Why we use it

We use the information to assess whether the proposed service addresses a real problem, qualify requests, contact you about the research or a possible pilot, improve the offer and measure aggregate validation results. The intended basis is our legitimate interest in conducting proportionate B2B product research and responding to your enquiry.

Who receives it

Survey responses are available only to the PromiseTrace project operator and infrastructure providers needed to host the form and database. We do not sell survey information or use it for unrelated advertising. Confidential customer evidence would be governed by a separate, explicitly agreed process before collection.

Retention

Survey responses are ordinarily retained for up to 90 days from submission and then deleted unless a continuing conversation, legal requirement or explicit agreement justifies a longer period. Aggregate, non-identifying research findings may be retained.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy, correction or deletion of your survey response, or object to further contact. Use the PromiseTrace enquiry form and include the response reference shown after submission. We will privately provide the appropriate contact and legal-counterparty details when responding.

Cookies and automated decisions

The validation site does not use advertising cookies or make automated eligibility decisions. Campaign parameters may be stored with a survey response. Human review determines whether and how we follow up.

Changes

We may update this notice as the validation process changes. The version date above identifies the notice that applies to current submissions.
